Founded in 1989, GGM has successfully staged more than 1,000+ events on five continents. GGM has developed the perfect formula for honoring the history, dedication, and commitment that the sport of golf is known for while presenting it in a package that’s innovative and exciting.

Global Golf Management currently provides consultation, management, and tournament operations service for over 40 professional golf events across the globe. GGM’s award-winning offerings have brought us to the top of the golf industry and that’s where we plan to stay. We’re raising the bar on golf events.

Bryan Pettigrew

Tournament Director
Bryan joins GGM as the new Tournament Director at the Barbasol Championship at Champion Trace in Lexington, Kentucky. As the Tournament Director of the Barbasol Championship, Pettigrew oversees marketing, operations and business development, including sponsorship sales and hospitality sales. In addition, Pettigrew serves as a member of the Advisory Board and Caddie127 charitable arm which supports Kentucky not-for-profit organizations. Prior to working in golf management, Pettigrew served as Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sponsorship of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships. Bryan is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Communications, and resides in Lexington.

Mike Harmon

Executive Director
Mike Harmon is an Executive Director at Global Golf Management (GGM), a worldwide sports event management company founded in 1989. A 25-year veteran of the golf industry, Harmon launched his career at the Kroger Senior Classic in Cincinnati, OH. At GGM, Mike focuses on new project development and the pursuit of business opportunities for the company’s clients and partners. He was responsible for the creation of the PGA TOUR’s Barbasol Championship and currently serves as Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Open, the largest PGA TOUR event in the Caribbean. Harmon has also served as tournament director for several professional tour events, including the World Cup of Golf in Malaysia and the Shinhan Korea Golf Championship. He earned a degree from the University of Michigan and currently resides in Birmingham, AL.

Rachel Ditto

Office Manager/Tournament Administrator
Rachel Ditto joined the Barbasol Championship in 2020 as the Office Manager and Tournament Administrator. Prior to this, Rachel worked at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and also in the U.S. Senate, both in Washington D.C. Rachel has a degree in Hospitality Management and Tourism from the University of Kentucky and has studied abroad in Chile, Ethiopia, and Greece. She returns to her home state of Kentucky where she looks forward to making the Barbasol Championship a must-attend event.

Mikhail Jenkins

Sales Manager
Mikhail comes to the Barbasol Championship team with an extensive background in non-profit development and growth strategy implementation. He is a lifelong golf enthusiast and considers it a dream come true to work with a PGA TOUR event. Outside of golf, Mikhail has been a longtime volunteer in the student ministries program at Southland Christian Church in Lexington, KY.

Selina Maddox

Tournament Services - Volunteers
Selina has worked for 14 years in golf and has been with GGM for nearly six of those years. She brings great experience working with volunteers from both LPGA Tour and PGA TOUR events. She currently oversees the volunteers at the Rex Hospital Open and Barbasol Championship. Selina is a graduate of the University of Alabama, and currently resides in Birmingham, AL.

Gypsie Hutchinson

Marketing & Social Media
Gypsie is currently pursuing her Masters at Morehead State University, in Sports Management and Communications and also plays for the Morehead State Women’s Golf team.

Dan Koett

Director or Media & Public Relations
Dan is an award-winning media and public relations executive who has spent over twenty years advancing the missions and impact of charitable organizations. Prior to joining the Barbasol Championship team, he held senior leadership roles with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Boy Scouts of America, and the YMCA. Outside of the nonprofit world, Dan has facilitated media and PR for projects such as the upcoming Drew Barrymore film, The Stand-In, which was partially filmed in central Kentucky. Dan earned a dual degree from the University of Pittsburgh where he received bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and Business Administration. Additionally, Dan is the founder and principal of Affinity Media & Public Relations.

Samantha Brooks

Marketing, Advertising & Design
Samantha has over twenty years of experience in the advertising industry working for both international and boutique agencies in the United States, Australia, and is currently based out of Rome, Italy. Working in almost every department within an ad agency, Sam brings invaluable qualifications to her freelance marketing services company, Sam Can Do It Freelance Services. If something needs to get done, chances are "Sam can do it!"

Ashleigh VanHoose

Player Concierge
Ashleigh VanHoose has worked with the Barbasol Championship since 2019 and oversees the PGA TOUR Player Concierge program. Ashleigh has organized and managed multiple events with 500 guests or more and has a formal background in hospitality, tourism, and travel. She works with the PGA TOUR ahead of the Barbasol Championships and has a knowledge of what Players and their families are looking for when they come to Kentucky. Ashleigh’s Global Hospitality Management certification from Cornell University enables her to handle everything from hotel requests to restaurant reservations and providing directions and recommendations to the PGA TOUR Players. Her husband manages both Keene Trace golf courses, so she knows her way around the clubs and all that is entailed in making our guest welcome at the Barbasol Championship. She also assists with the Executive Women’s Day activities and is always smiling. Ashleigh is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and has a Masters from the University of Cumberlands.

Karen Calvesbert

Operations
Karen serves as the Tournament Manager for the Barbasol Championship and Puerto Rico Open on the PGA TOUR. She oversees a number of GGM projects, and previously worked as Tournament Coordinator on the PGA Tour Latinoamerica. Karen played collegiate golf at Rollins College, 1997-2001, earning a BA in Environmental Studies. As a San Juan native, Karen was a 5-year member of the Puerto Rico National Golf Team.
